About Birch Pottery
Iām Eilidh, a small-batch potter from rural North East Scotland. I create hand-thrown ceramics inspired by my upbringing on the edge of the Cairngorm National Park.
My work draws on the colours, textures, and shifting rhythms of the Scottish countryside, celebrating the subtle beauty of local flora and fauna throughout the year.
Through functional, thoughtfully crafted pieces, I hope to bring a sense of place and connection to everyday rituals.
The name Birch Pottery is inspired by the silver birch woodlands that weave through the Deeside and Speyside valleys. These landscapes formed the backdrop to my childhood and continue to influence my practice today.
